Yeah the pressure cooker pot with the router inside did the trick. I tried a large peanut can, a baking pan, a strong metal pressure cooker 4qt I believe pot. So I tested each one with SpoedTestģ)Then I tested putting/positioning router in different positions and in different metal containers. Yes it was.I was able to see it could WiFI 10 connections. Opened it up and checked it my firmware was updated. Seems speeds are quite variable like the wind, but al least I could test. although I’m intrigued with Eero WiFi booster. someone else said WiFi booster, another said it won’t work. Att store said don’t bother it won’t work. Internet too slow but could record movie and in an hour it might be downloaded. So I stayed there for few weeks and decided to make another go.Ītt customer service rep no 101 said try Microcell mini tower. So much for experts.and I could stream movies on Demand for few minutes with bufferings then it stop and I could connect to Internet and watch You Tube videos. and I wrapped it in aluminum foil.Īh now I had a stronger signal. Ok I took the router and moved it as close to nearest window. So I said to myself you’re going to have to figure this out by yourself. I’m thinking somebody got to know what they’re doing. they tested signal, they test cell towers, they spooked at router. I got 2 experts from Directv to go over system. but signal not strong enough for Smartv Internet. So I called Att/ Directv and was ping ponged back in forth more times than a 5 set match. So when I first got service Directv worked great. So I would have Directv, Att, and Comcast at same time. If you live in area where they can hard wire Att service to your home they will. 1) average customer 2) or customers who stream movies/ gamers. After hours of conversation I’ve discovered they divide router/Internet net speeds byĬustomer uses. ![]() I think the first step for anyone experiencing what I am describing is to get into the head of Att. Customer service is like these replies, incomplete so I have to figure this out for my situation. I thank them for providing input which I would think would be a common question.especially for Att customers given a cell tower Homebase router.I like the smallness of it but your on your own to improving signal.
